Kandace Shoell, DPT
Kandace received her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Colorado in 2014. Since then, she has worked exclusively in outpatient orthopedics and sports medicine in the Puget Sound area. Her personal philosophy is to help patients improve their function through healthy movement utilizing hands-on techniques and exercise. In her free time, Kandace enjoys playing with her French Bulldogs (Baby Dill and Pickles), skiing, rock climbing, hiking, and playing ultimate Frisbee.
Location: North Clinic (Ballard)
Four months ago I began seeing Kandace for help in recovering from a broken shoulder. After this short period of time I feel like I’m almost back to normal again. She has given me great suggestions and achievable exercises to do at home each week. Now I have the tools to continue independently to reach full recovery. Thank you Kandace and Salmon Bay Physical Therapy for all your help!
Before I started working with Kandace, there were so many normal day-to-day activities that I either struggled to do, or did and had to deal with the pain for hours (or even days) later. Now, not only do I have relief in performing these activities, but I'm not stressed about them anymore! I can be an active playmate to my toddler and trek all the wonderful trails we have around. Thank you, Salmon Bay, for making me feel like I can do it, whatever "it" ends up being next.
